本技術報告書では自動車用パワーエレクトロニクスの現状について調査研究した結果をまとめている。電気学会ではこれまで産業用、家電用などのパワーエレクトロニクスについて取り組んできたが、近年目覚しい発展を遂げたハイブリッド自動車をはじめとする自動車用のパワーエレクトロニクスについてはあまりなじみがなかったのが実情である。
そこで、自動車用パワーエレクトロニクスの現状を広く調査することにより、電気学会が扱ってきた産業用、家電用のパワーエレクトロニクスとの共通点、相違点を明確にすることを目的に調査を行った。活動期間中に新しいハイブリッド自動車、電気自動車が続々発表され、調査期間中には十分調査できなかった面もある。しかしながら、ある時点における自動車用パワーエレクトロニクスの現状をまとめたと考えている。
自動車用パワーエレクトロニクスが従来のパワーエレクトロニクスと大きく異なるのは、その大きさに対する要求が厳しいことである。そのため、冷却、素子など独自の工夫がされている。本技術報告書では公表されているものに限り、それらの現状をまとめている。 |

This technical report describes the result of the investigation research on recent power electronics in automobiles. Institute of Electrical Engineers in Japan (IEEJ) has long history of research on power electronics for industry application and home appliance, however, the power electronics technology for car industry seems to be different from others. The investigation of the committee is mainly focused on the difference of the technology between the power electronics for automobile and power electronics for industry.
The major technical difficulty in power electronics for automobile is the strict requirement of the size. Therefore, the technology has original feature for the cooling technology and device technology. This technical report reviews and summarizes the present status of the power electronics for automobiles. |
