高速道路では，ETCによる多様な料金施策やスマートICの整備，またDSRC技術を応用したITSスポット通信による情報提供や自動車からのプローブ情報の収集等，積極的な取り組みがなされている。その中で，道路交通の安全，快適，そして有効利用のためには適切な情報提供が必要である。
従来の情報提供手段は，インフラストラクチャ設備からの公共性の高い情報提供が中心であった。しかし，ICTの進歩とともに，情報提供は，カーナビゲーションシステムやPC，スマートフォン等のモバイル機器によって，個々人の目的に合わせた情報提供へと多様化が進んでいる。こうした情報提供ツールの多様化のなかで，どのような情報をどのようなタイミングで流せばよいのか，そこで要求される品質はどの程度かなど，提供情報の内容や質に対する検討が重要であると考えられる。
本報告書は，委員会における調査研究のまとめであり，高速道路交通管制における情報提供の現状，効果的な情報提供，およびそのコンテンツである提供情報などに関する調査検討について述べている。 |

On the expressway, aggressive efforts are being made, such as various charge measures by ETC, development of smart ICs, information provision by ITS Spot communication applying DSRC technology, and collection of probe information from automobiles. Among them, it is necessary to provide appropriate information for the safety, comfort and efficient use of road traffic.
Conventional information provision means mainly focused on providing highly public information from infrastructure facilities. However, along with the progress of ICT, information provision has been diversified to information provision suitable for individual purposes by car navigation systems, mobile devices such as PC and smart phone. Among such diversification of information provision tools, it is important to consider what kind of information is to be flowed at what timing, what kind of quality is required there, and consideration on the contents and quality of the information provided Conceivable.
This report is a summary of the research and research conducted by the committee, and it describes the results of survey and examination on the present status of information provision in expressway traffic control, the effective information provision, and the provided information which is the contents thereof. |
