近年の固体電力増幅器 (SSPA) の性能向上により、SSPAを用いて進行波管電力増幅器 より高い出力を得る方法について検討が行われている。中でも電力合成技術は出力電力を大幅に向上させることが出来る方法として注目されているが、高出力のSSPAを電力合成回路に実装する際にはSSPA間のアイソレーションが重要となる。本論では電力合成回路に応用することを念頭に、構造が簡単なY型変形マジックTの設計を行い、電力合成回路への応用を検討した。 |

New type of power combiner with amplifiers was designed at X band. Main emphasis was placed on the isolation between the output ports to overcome the individual difference of the amplifier chips. To enhance the isolation, Y-shaped magic-T was optimized and it was applied to the dual power combiner. The isolation was -20 dB or less at frequencies from 8.5 to 11 GHz, and well-balanced output to be low-loss branching circuits with a loss of -3.1 dB or higher are confirmed. In addition, the six way power combining circuit was constructed by using this magic-T. It was confirmed that it was possible to double the number of powers of the triple power combiner while maintaining high power combining efficiency. |
