This technical report summarizes the results of investigating the technological trends of power converters and rectifier circuits that are mainly connected to AC power supplies. The feature of this report is to focus on what kind of social background and requirements the power conversion circuit and control technology shown in the extracted literature are developed and applied. For example, technology development focusing on the evolution of power devices, technology development for responding to the diversification of AC power supplies, and technology development accompanying the speeding up of CPU and analysis technology are illustrated and organized. This technical report introduces the trends of research and development and the actual state of application of each of the following five categories classified by application. (1) Converter, grid-connected inverter field, (2) Home appliances, consumer field, (3) Equipment with storage function, (4) Transportation, industrial field equipment, (5) DC power distribution system interconnected with AC power supply And off-the-grid system. |
